Functional Owner - Big Data - Automotive

The role will best suit a proactive problem solver and manager keen to develop their skills and build a career in a highly exposed role in the Automotive industry. Strong cross-border management and cooperation skills are essential, as well as language skills - English, Czech and German (Highly preferable).

About the role

As the Functional Owner (FO) you will be responsible for:

• Delivering Car Data related projects for various Use-cases.
• Data Collection process (across different models of cars), Data cleansing, Testing and Analyses and Third-party delivery.
• Coordinating and supporting the Testing procedures including Live implementation and resolving customer issues.
• Leading and Participating in Workshops.
• Creating and maintaining the Documentation and Instructions for Integration phases.
• Liaising with your VW Group counterparts (VW, Audi, Seat, Cariad)
• Team/Stakeholder Coordination - including Testers, Back-End Engineers, Product Owners and Business Owners.
• IT Security, Hackability analyses, Legal compliance etc.

What you will need

• Experience/background in IT and Data handling
• Ability to read and understand Back-end code
• Ability to quickly master large number of proprietary IT tools quickly
• Strong communication and rapport building skills - necessary to successful cooperate with your VW Group counterparts
• Language skills - Czech and English essential, German language highly preferable
• Nice to have:

1. Python programming language, Python Script
2. MS Office suite, JIRA, Confluence
3. Serial2, DLT Viewer and other Tracing solutions
